Azarja van der Veen is a tattoo artist and model based out of northern New Jersey who became enamored with tattoo culture at the age of 17 and never looked back. In her youth she frequented shops, building her own stunning collection of magazine worthy ink.

Azarja began her apprenticeship in 2002 and has since become one of the most sought after artists in the area.

Over the years she has become a staple in the tattoo scene: gracing covers of some of the most influential magazines and frequently working events, such as International Tattoo Art and the annual New York City Tattoo Convention.

Azarja’s work and likeness have been used in commercial publications and network television. She has collaborated with a range of international media outlets from VOGUE ESPANA to TATTOO LIFE.

Azarja has the personality and experience to go from artist to model and back again. She continues to expand her ever-growing portfolio and can always be seen enjoying the nightlife at parties, concerts and tattoo events.
